  • CDP HBODSPRO fills spool and the following message is issued:
HBO6085E Splitter z/OS SYSLOG-UTF-split found malformed record.
Record discarder.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: CDP HBODSPRO fills spool with message   *
*                      HBO6085E.                               *
****************************************************************
When HBO6085E is issued, it includes the text of the malformed
record.  HBO6085E is picked up as a new message, with the
malformed text, which CDP detects as malformed text.  Another
HBO6085E is issued, resulting in a loop.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • HBO6085E no longer attaches the malformed text to the message.
