The following error is given when trying to scan a carton through 02524 (Divert Carton) or sorter interface.

Cause

Resolving The Problem

The above problem happens in the following conditions:

1. The shipping label is more than 11 digits. This is set by whse parms: PCK/CRTNNUMLEN
2. The whse_parms PCK /OLSCANUPD is set to N.
3. 09353 (Load Create Rules) has the following parameter: "Online Pick" is set to No.
4. Trying to scan a carton using 02524 (Divert Carton) for a shipper in "Released" status will get this error.

All the above four conditions should be satisfied to get this error. If you pick the carton and then scan the carton, this should work properly.
