Question

How does the available date in YFS_TASK_Q getting updated for schedule agent? Can you change available date manually?

Answer

The available date in the yfs_task_q table for schedule agent changed according to ETS.

No it can not be changed manually. The available date in yfs_task_q table will be updated, when the order is created. If you do not want that schedule agent pick the order based on the same available date, then configure the following based on requirement.

For example:
For testing purpose required configuration:- At the node level if we configure : Do not schedule the order to this node more than 2 days before expected time of shipment.

Simulation steps:

  1. Order created date is 15 April.
  2. Requested Delivery date is 30 April.
  3. ETS or ETD is 30 April.
  4. Available date in yfs_task_q table is 15 April, here available date is the date when the order goes on created status.
  5. Now, if you run the schedule order agent the available date gets updated as 28 April, which is 2 days before the expected time of shipment (30 April).
