How to determine the installed version of Guardium

Question

What version of Guardium do I have installed ?

Answer

To identify the release level for your Guardium installation run the show build command as user cli .

Guardium v7 will display the build level.

Guardium v8 will display build level, release level and snif version.

Guardium v8.2 will display build level, release level, and snif version

Guardium v9.x will display build level, release level, and snif version

Guardium v10.x will display build level, release level, ID tags, and snif version


v7 example:

    >show build
    Build 7.0-4aa404a6f44147a231ca28e6c840f65e
    ok

v8 example:


    >show build
    Build: 8.01
    Release: v81_r24339_1-el55-20101208_2100
    Snif version: GA801-gmachine-v81-r24339-20101208_2100
    ok

v8.2 example:


    > show build
    Build: 8.2
    Release: v82_r33264_1-el56-20110812_2101
    Snif version: daily82-gmachine-v82-r89588-20160919_1458
    ok

v9.5 example:


    > show build
    Build: 9.0
    Release: 9.5.0.500_r73608_v90_1-el511_x86_64-20150313_2114
    external_r1286-20150313_2114
    Snif version: daily-v9_next64-gmachine-v90-r73320-20150309_1442
    ok


v10 example:

    > show build
    Build: 10.0
