How do you purge an IBM Rational DOORS Module?
Cause
Purging the deleted modules will free-up database space hence the IBM Rational DOORS performance will be optimized.
Answer
To purge a Rational DOORS Module, apply the following steps:
- Open the Rational DOORS Database Explorer
- Click View > Show Deleted
- Select the deleted module you want to purge from the right pane of the Database Explorer
- Click File > Purge...
- A message is displayed asking if you really want to purge the selected item; Click Yes
The module is permanently removed from the database.
