How do you purge an IBM Rational DOORS Project?
Cause
Un-purged projects are consuming more space in the Rational DOORS Database hence affecting the performance.
Answer
To purge a Rational DOORS Project, apply the following steps:
- Open the Rational DOORS Database Explorer
- Click View > Show Deleted
- Select the deleted project you want to purge from the right pane of the Database Explorer
- Click File > Purge...
- A message is displayed asking if you really want to purge the selected item; click Yes
The project and all the data in it is permanently removed from the database.
