How do you update object text attribute instead of the object heading when you insert a new object in an IBM Rational DOORS module?
Cause
In the module when you insert a new object DOORS appears to default to the object heading attribute being populated even though you may want to insert a requirement and populate the object text.
Answer
When you insert a new object do not select the object by clicking it.
Instead just type the desired text after you have inserted the new object.
DOORS will populate the object text attribute and not assign an object heading number.
