Troubleshooting
Problem
When trying to activate an OLE in a DOORS 9.3.0.2 client running on a Microsoft Windows 2008 64 bit machine, the OLE does not activate and a 'Create package' pop up is displayed. When clicking on 'Cancel' another error message displays noting: 'Unable to activate OLE object!
Diagnosing The Problem
This issue has been identified as a product defect and has been logged under APAR PM33940
This defect has been reported with DOORS 9.3.0.2 on Microsoft Windows 2008 64 bit (R2 and non R2 both).
Resolving The Problem
Currently, there is no work around available for this issue.
