How can you extract data from an IBM DOORS database?
Cause
Using Visual Basic there does not appear to be a method to extract data by using Open Database Connectivity.
Answer
The IBM Rational DOORS database server uses proprietary protocols to handle data files.
There are functions that you can use through DOORS to import and export data for use in other applications; however, there is currently no method to use another application to extract information from a DOORS database.
