Question & Answer
Question
How do you manage users, groups, and access rights in IBM Rational DOORS after it is integrated with IBM Rational Directory Server (RDS)?
Answer
You should use the IBM Rational Directory Server Administration client (RDA) to:
- Create, edit, and delete users and groups
- Assign users to groups
You should use IBM Rational DOORS to manage access rights for users and groups -- you may have to turn off inherit permissions. For example, from a project's Properties window, you can go to the Access tab, turn off Inherit from parent, and configure which groups you want to access that project and which access permissions to grant them.
