Question

Where can you find the Microsoft Windows registry information in the IBM Rational DOORS server and clients?

Cause

It is useful for troubleshooting the connectivity issue in Rational DOORS.

Answer

You can find the following Microsoft Windows registry information in the Rational DOORS server and clients to confirm current settings.

Note: The following example registry values are based on Rational DOORS version 8.3.

  1. In the IBM Rational License Server
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\FLEXlm License Manager]
    "Service"="    Telelogic License Manager" "TELELOGIC_LICENSE_FILE"="License_Port_Number@License_Server_Hostname" (For example: "19353@license_server")

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\FLEXlm License Manager\Telelogic License Manager]

    The value of "License" specifies the location of the License File.
    The information of "License_Port_Number@License_Server_Hostname" can also be found in the License File.
