3. What authorities does my IBM i user profile and SST user profile need in order to get the plug-in to work?
- There is only one matrix that needs SST user profile, which is disk config. The SST user profile does not require any special authority.
- For IBM i user profile, only two matrix need special authorities: Longest running SQL requires *ALLOBJ authority. · Disk config requires *ALLOBJ, *SERVICE, and *IOSYSCFG authorities.
4. What networking ports should I open in order to get the plug-in to work?
- We support both standard ports and SSL ports. Generally speaking, you need 449, 8470, 8471, 8475, 8476 opened for your standard ports, and 9470, 9471, 9475, 9476 for your SSL ports.
5. Where do I get support?
- The IBM i Nagios plugins are open source and provided as is. Any support or maintenance would be from the open source community.
6. What PTF level should I have in order to get the plug-in to work?
