Support for Windows Server 2008 R2 for Control Center

Question & Answer

Question

Does Control Center still support Windows 7, Windows 2008, 2008 R2?

Cause

Operating System out of support

Answer

On January 14, 2020, support for Windows 7 and for Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2 has ended. That means the end of regular security updates. Customers are advised to migrate to a supported operating system.

Following the IBM Support Lifecycle Policies, IBM will no longer support running its products on an Operating System that is no longer supported by the vendor. IBM recommends customers to upgrade to a supported OS instead and replicate the defect.
