Why do you receive this DXL error, "-R-E- DXL:
Cause
View was created by Administrator Account.
This is a known issue that has been fixed in a later version (9.2) of IBM Rational DOORS.
Steps to recreate the error:
- Log in as Administrator.
- Open any module.
- Change the view and save it (with Access to this view set to Public),
- If you check Manage Views at this time, you will see that the Administrator is listed in the Access tab.
- Now log in as any other user.
- Open the same module and click on Manage Views.
- The following DXL error is generated: -R-E- DXL: <standard/access/accessTab.inc:2145> An unexpected error has occurred: No access to the administrator account.
Answer
To workaround this issue, don't create views as Administrator.
Note: You can see this problem in migrated data in previous DOORS releases. The only way to fix this data is to remove the admin view access.
