Problem
This technote provides you with information about IBM Rational Robot, and the compatibility with Internet Explorer 7 (IE7).
Symptom
Various errors reported when trying to record and/or playback Robot VU scripts against IE7.
Resolving The Problem
Robot VU cannot be used to record or playback scripts against IE7. Although Robot's functional testing component can be used with IE7, the performance testing (VU) is not compatible.
If you require performance testing with Internet Explorer version 7 (or higher), refer to IBM Rational Performance Tester.
