Problem
Databuilds reading and writing to Microsoft SQL Server database fail intermittently with Timeout expired, SQLSTATE = HYT00, ERROR = 0
Symptom
DS-DBMS-E400: UDA driver reported the following on connection 'ALIAS_00BFA13C':
DMS-E-GENERAL, A general exception has occurred during operation 'tables'.
DMS-E-RDS_OLEDB, The OLE DB provider has returned the following error:
HRESULT: E_FAIL
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server
Timeout expired
SQLSTATE = HYT00, ERROR = 0

Resolving The Problem
Increase the Query time-out parameter (default 600 seconds) for the server in the SQL Server Enterprise Manager.
Steps:In SQL Server Enterprise Manager:
1. Select the server
2. Right-click Properties.
3. In the Connections tab, adjust the Query time-out parameter.
4. Click OK.
