QZRDSECURE Exit Program

This exit program is available to allow PowerHA clients using IASP Copy Services Manager (ICSM) with DS8000 storage to set up a security policy, restricting certain users to certain edit options from the WRKCSE screen, or certain functions from the WRKCSE, Opt.12 menu screen.

This program object must reside in library QZRDHASM, and if it is not available, no authority checking will take place when running the WRKCSE command.

Security policies to in WRKCSE for Add (Opt.1), Change (Opt.2),  or Delete (Opt.4) can be added for all ICSM (DS8000) environments, including Lun-Switching, FlashCopy, Metro Mirror and Global Mirror.

Additionally, all environments allow security policies to be set up for WRKCSE, Opt.14 (List Stream Files), and for the WRKCSE, Opt.12 (Work With) menu options for the environments listed below

FlashCopy Environments

Additional security can be set up for the menu options that show up in WRKCSE, Opt.12 (Work With) against a FLASH environment:

1 - Start (Make Flash)

2 - Stop (Remove Flash)

12 - Work with Volumes

14 - List Stream Files

MetroMirror Environments

Additional security can be set up for the menu options that show up in WRKCSE, Opt.12 (Work With) against a MMIR environment:

2 - Pause

3 - Resume

12 - Work with Volumes

13 - Display Out of Sync Sectors

14 - List Stream Files

Global Mirror Environments

Additional security can be set up for the menu options that show up in WRKCSE, Opt.12 (Work With) against a GMIR environment:

2 - Pause with Consistency

3 - Resume PPRC and Global Mirror

12 - Work with Volumes

13 - Display Out of Sync Sectors

14 - List Stream Files

15 - Pause without Consistency
