Problem
When attempting to open a TM1 Contributor application, users receive the following error (on loop) and are unable to open the application successfully:
This application has been updated by the administrator. Your view will now be refreshed.

Cause
Invalid permissions
Resolving The Problem
If a user encounters the looping error described in this case, the problem is likely to be caused by invalid rights/permissions on the Approval Hierarchy. To resolve the problem, you must review the rights that are configured for the Application. In the specific case for the customer that had reported this problem, the following was found:
-Consolidation1 <--User had permission to this node
-Consolidation2 <--User did NOT have permission to this node
-Element1 <--User had permission to this node
-Consolidation1 <--User had permission to this node
-Consolidation2 <--User did NOT have permission to this node
-Element1 <--User had permission to this node
Because of the above, there was a linkage between the top level consolidation (Consolidation1) and the leaf element (Element1) that was broken. In the above scenario, rights must be granted for the missing Consolidation (Consolidation2).
