The enhancements are:
- IBM Security Guardium® V10 is a new and greatly improved version.

VA with IBM i includes a comprehensive set of over 130 tests and entitlement reporting for IBM i 7.1 and later partitions. - IBM Security Guardium® V10 Database Activity Monitor (DAM) includes improvements for the Db2 for i client:
- Support for S-TAP load balancing (non-enterprise).
- Encrypted traffic between S-TAP and collector.
- Closer alignment with other UNIX S-TAPs.
- Both DAM for V10 and V9 are improved to have:
- Failover support for IBM i
- Support for multiple policies (up to 9), with IBM i side configuration
- Filtering improvements, with IBM i side configuration
