Planning Analytics on Cloud: Who am I when accessing client interface on the Rich Tier

Troubleshooting

Problem

When a user logs into the Rich Tier, using a modeler account, then log into user interface (Architect or Perspectives); the wrong login is used.

Cause

Users share Modeler account(s) AND user has enabled the 'Remember me' on the IBMId logon screen.

Diagnosing The Problem

After login onto the desktop using the modeler account, user launches Architect (or Perspectives).  Remember me is ticked and your user id is displayed.  You logon.
In Architect, if you do Who am I, you notice that it is a different person (user id).
At this point your are not currently connected to the PA client interface, but this other user is.
Note.  You can also 'see' that you are not Active from Security - Groups and Users.  The tm1server.log records your actions under someone else's logon/account.

Resolving The Problem

To prevent the issue from occurring:
- Do not share modeler account
- Do not use the 'Remember me' on the Rich Tier (Remote Desktop)
Should the above have already occurred:
- Clear Internet Browser cache from Internet Explorer on the Rich Tier desktop
- Untick 'Remember Me', the next time you attempt to connect to Architect or Perspectives
