The following fixes and updates are included in the 2017 Q3 PTFs:
Overall Navigator for i changes:
| This PTF will enable IBM i Navigator for Java 8. To ensure Java 8 will be used, make sure licensed program 57xxJV1 option 17 (Java SE 8 64 bit) is installed before applying this PTF. |

Fixes
Detail on PTF apply:
1. Enter the following commands to stop the QHTTPSVR subsystem and QINAVMNSRV job before applying PTF:
| ENDSBS SBS(QHTTPSVR) OPTION(*IMMED) CALL PGM(QSYSDIR/QINAVMNSRV) PARM(*STOP) |
2. Apply or remove this PTF (immediate mode).
3. Start the HTTP server(s) using:
| STRTCPSVR SERVER(*HTTP) HTTPSVR(*ADMIN) |
4. It is required to clear the browser cache after applying this PTF for some of the above changes to take effect.
