Product Release Notes v29.5
Content
The V29.5 release of the Resilient Incident Response Platform introduces the following new features and enhancements. All changes and bug fixes from the previous V29.4 release are included.
- Security Updates. For customers on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux version of the Resilient platform, this release includes all pertinent security updates to the underlying platform that have been released since the previous release of the Resilient platform. These security updates are provided in a .run file in the same folder as the 29.5 update. Instructions for installing them are included in the release announcement email. These updates are cumulative and include all relevant packages whether you upgrade from 29.0 or 29.1.
- Privacy regulation updates. This release incorporates the new data breach notification requirements under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please see this knowledgebase article for complete details. Other changes include the addition of Alabama as a new regulator, and modifications to Oregon.
Please note that upgrading from 29.5 to 30.0 is not supported due to changes in the privacy rules required for these updates. When you upgrade from 29.5 to 30.x, you MUST upgrade to at least version 30.1.
