Resilient Release Announcement (v31)

Dear Resilient Customer,
IBM Resilient has just released a new version of the Resilient Platform (v31.0.4254). We recommend that you deploy this update at your earliest convenience.
Please refer to the attached Release Notes for details about the new Features and Bug fixes. v31 product documentation can be found on the IBM Knowledge Center.
Hosted Customers
You will receive notice of when your system is scheduled to be upgraded. During this time your system will be intermittently unavailable. Please advise your users to save their work and remain logged off during this window.
You must be running at least v30 of Resilient to install this version. If you are using an older version, you must first upgrade to version 30.
IMPORTANT NOTE: as was previously communicated, starting with v30 the Resilient Platform is RedHat Linux only. If you have not yet migrated to RHEL, you must first do so using v29.
Steps to Migrate to the RHEL platform can be found within the v29 On-Prem install guide. /support/pages/node/1161568 (Section 12)
To upgrade, download the following two (2) files on to your appliance:
1) New Installations
For new installations, the link to the RHEL virtual image can be downloaded using the link below

The MD5 is a9281156e6c1f77544e96c066f0dc260
2) Resilient Update
$ wget --trust-server-names https://repo.co3sys.com/public/be1d8c295a94b35c5a61e5cd17b1457a/latest.php
To verify the file integrity, confirm that the MD5 checksum of the file is 12fe0fdc10347f0695731398c87eded8.
3) RHEL Security Updates
Procedure
- Install the Security Updates by running the following commands:
$ wget --trust-server-names https://repo.co3sys.com/public/d14778fafab109e8a43d62fc402dea2e/latest.php
sudo bash resilient-appliance-security-update-31.0.4254.run
- Run the following command from the Resilient appliance to download a resilient-31.0.4254.run file. If your appliance does not have internet access, run the wget command from another system then copy the downloaded file to your appliance.
wget --trust-server-names https://repo.co3sys.com/public/be1d8c295a94b35c5a61e5cd17b1457a/latest.php
- Use one of the following commands to install the file using the actual version number (typically in the format x.x.x) in the file name.
During the upgrade, the script automatically backs up the database. To allow the backup, use this
command:
sudo bash resilient-31.0.4254.run
To verify the file integrity, confirm the MD5 checksum of the file is4c6c3f5396abebde921c7fb7628476a1.
4) Optional Packages Update
Procedure
- Run the following command from the Resilient appliance to download the latest optional packages. If your appliance does not have internet access, run the wget command from another system and then copy the downloaded file to your appliance.
wget --trust-server-names https://repo.co3sys.com/public/420ad9acbeb76bf25d5a6cf286eb4a3e/latest.php
- Execute the run file using a command such as the following:
sudo bash ./resilient-optional-packages-repo-31.0.4254.run
This creates or updates a new local Yum repository called resilient_optional.
- Use Yum to install the packages, as follows:
sudo yum install rsync
sudo yum install screen
sudo yum install net-snmp
- Verify the installation using the following commands:
rsync --version
screen --version
net-snmp --version
To verify the file integrity, confirm that the MD5 checksum of the file is
