How to disable the creation of files in /tmp/.com_ibm_tools_attach ?
Cause
This feature is enabled by default but it can be turned off by exporting the environment variable IBM_JAVA_OPTIONS as per below.
Answer
The Attach API is an extension that provides a mechanism to attach to a Java virtual machine.
You can disable this feature by setting the Java system property com.ibm.tools.attach.enable to no.
Export the variable in the probe .env file as per below :
export IBM_JAVA_OPTIONS=-Dcom.ibm.too
Restart the probe.
