Body
In Maximo version 7.604 you may see two "Graphical Scheduling Applications" in the Security Groups application. You may be wondering if this is a bug or if not then what is the difference between the two.
This is not a bug, but it is kind of confusing. To differentiate the different applications please see the step below:
First go to Application Designer and filter for "SCH".
You will see both SCHEDULER and SCHEDACM applications listed. For the SCHEDULER application pull up the application and change the application description from "Graphical Scheduling" to "Graphical Scheduling Applet" and save your changes.
After doing this if you go back to your Security Groups application then you can see the applications with different descriptions.
If you want to make permission changes then you should be just changing the application described as "Graphical Scheduling" and not the application described as "Graphical Scheduling Applet". This is the one that you see now when you run the application. It is the new, non-Java Applet based Graphical Scheduling. SCHEDULER is the old java applet based GS (Graphical Scheduling) that was replaced with SCHEDACM but was included in case it was needed. Hopefully this clears up any confusion on why you see two "Graphical Scheduling Applications" in the Security Groups application.
