SAP on IBM i Performance Assessment and Comparison
An expert consultant assesses the overall performance of your SAP stack, including operating system efficiency, database query analysis, and the SAP technology layer (SAP Basis). Performance data is collected by using various operating system and SAP tools. The performance data is analyzed and recommendations for improving the efficiency of the SAP stack is provided based on that analysis.
Depending on the performance data that is collected, the consultant might also compare utilization and performance metrics between a baseline measurement and an updated SAP on IBM i environment. Updates to the SAP on IBM i environment could include hardware, operating system, or application upgrades.

In this workshop, you learn a methodology for tuning Db2 for IBM i Structured Query Language (SQL) data access and query processing for optimum performance in an SAP environment. Explore the science and art behind the Db2 for IBM i query optimizer including how it relates to database and application performance. Learn the methods and strategies that the database engine uses to run SQL queries. There is an opportunity to discuss and use IBM i and SAP tools to help you with database performance monitoring, analysis and tuning.
This workshop is offered on demand as a private workshop. An experienced IBM i consultant delivers the education and knowledge transfer at your location. This workshop includes a hands-on lab.
