Abstract
Use the new serviceability feature in 95 to assist logging issues with Support
Body
While logging service requests with Support, it is necessary that environment details be provided.
This includes details of the Fix Pack and the pre-releases (if any) on the environment where the issue is seen.
In addition, details around user exits and event templates are also important to understand and analyze the issue.
To make gathering these details a one step process, a serviceability property has been introduced in 9.5 -
yfs.enable.serviceability.log
When this property is set to true ,data with regard to user exits, event templates, pre-releases, and fix pack details is collected and displayed in log files for API and service calls.
This property can be set in the customer properties file as well. More details available at -
