GSKKYMAN Key Database or RACF Keyring and Sterling Connect:Direct for z/OS Secure+ How to Videos
Secure+ and key certificates are a way by which businesses can utilise the security of a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). PKI enables secure e-commerce, Internet based communication and secure data transfer between businesses.
The following seven modules will take you through how to implement key certificates for use with Sterling Connect:Direct for z/OS. They illustrate how to implement both an IBM digital key database or an IBM RACF keyring to store certificates. You can also see how to create a Self Signed certificate, import a key certificate to the key database using GSKKYMAN or add it to a RACF keyring. You can also see how to create a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) using GSKKYMAN or RACF Keyrings. The request is then sent to an external Certificate Authority (CA) to sign. You can see how to renew a key certificate from an external CA or receive a new key certificate and how to export a key certificate for use in other IBM products.
Finally, you can see how to export a key certificate from an IBM digital key database using GSKKYMAN and import it into an IBM RACF keyring.
