Abstract
Ghostery TrackerMap Integration with Digital Analytics
Body
Recently, IBM held a webinar reviewing IBM's partnership with Ghostery, a product that helps clients gain control of tags on their website and apps. Issues can arise around security, latency, mixed content warnings, and compliance from unwanted tags, Ghostery can help with this. Ghostery provides a tool that allows for a more transparent approach to website tagging; they state that 80% of digital vendors on a brand's site are placed there indirectly, and up to 20% of tags used may have no use for the organization (used for old project, testing, etc). This leads to unwanted exposure, but Ghostery's TrackerMap is here to solve this issue.
Within the new IBM Digital Analytics user interface (digitalanalyticsbeta.ibmexperienceone.com), every client will now have access to the Ghostery TrackerMap tool through the menu Public Workspaces > Ghostery TrackerMap. This tool can scan any public facing domain and provide all tag requests and redirects used on that page for evaluation. It is as easy as plugging in a URL, and clicking 'scan'; from there you have the info you need to move forward and determine what should go and what needs to stay. Results are color coded by prevalence or latency and offers additional filters around non secure-tags.

Additionally, clients can subscribe to reporting, alerts, and more advanced options which assist in continual tracking and tag maintenance. Ghostery TrackerMap is an extremely helpful tool, already built into Digital Analytics, for which all client should take advantage. They say knowledge is power, so go forth, gain more knowledge about your tagging, and track on.
