Problem
Testing the connection to Oracle Unified Directory namespace fails with below error message :

[ ERROR ] CAM-AAA-0055 User input is required.
[ ERROR ] CAM-AAA-0036 Unable to authenticate because the credentials are invalid.
[ ERROR ] CAM-AAA-0125 The user ‘XXX’ does not exist in this namespace.

Cause
Missing bind credentials.

Diagnosing The Problem
Check using an external LDAP browser and confirm whether all the Oracle Unified Directory configuration matches with those configured for the Oracle Unified Directory namespace in IBM Cognos Configuration.
Resolving The Problem
1. Missing binding credentials were added to the OUD namespace configuration in IBM Cognos Configuration.
2. Set "Use bind credentials for search?" to True.
3. Save and restart Cognos services.
