Question & Answer
Question
Reports created/used in Planning Analytics for Excel are not displaying all rows expected.
Answer
By default, Planning Analytics for Excel limits the number of rows to prevent very large queries from impacting the user experience. To remove the row limit (and subsequently, create reports that may take longer to return to the user), the below steps can be followed:
- Click on "Options" from the IBM Planning Analytics ribbon
- In the IBM Planning Analytics pane, go to the Exploration or List settings options
- Change the value on Data display row limit to "0" and click OK
- Now whenever the row is populated from a view it will not be limited
