TEPS API link limit on 10,000 rows returned
Just a quick piece of information this time.
The TEPS API interface, or ITMREST interface as it is also known, is not designed to handle large amounts of data.
It therefore has a default limit of 10,000 rows returned.
It is better to introduce a "condition" filter clause into the query to only retrieve a list of what information is needed.
However if you do need to change the number of rows returned there is an environment variable can be tried:
KD8FETCHLIMIT=n
where: 0 < n < 2,147,483,647
this is put in the TEPS config (cq.ini or kfwenv), and then recycle the TEPS to activate.
This variable does require careful testing for your environment, due to the extra load that will be put on the environment.
