Abstract
KDE1_STC_CONNECTIONLIMITREACHED on KDE_Gateway agent.
Body
KDE1_STC_CONNECTIONLIMITREACHED on KDE_Gateway agent.
Customer was finding that the agents were not all connecting through the KDE_gateway
It was found in the agent log (for the agent that is running the KDE_gateway) the error:
kdebgpc.c,43,"KDEBG_ProxyConnect") Status 1DE0006B=KDE1_STC_CONNECTIONLIMITREACHED
One of the parameters on the kde_gateway configuration is the maxconn value.
This is the maximum number of connections allowed through the proxy.
This number has to be at least double the number of agents that will connect through the proxy,
as each agent can create more than one connection.
Edit your KDE_Gateway configuration xml files and check what is set for maxconn and increase the value.
Restart the gateway and check further for errors in the log.
