Abstract
How to hide the KPI tabs from users in DASH
Body
This example can be used to restrict any pages you wish from a user's view.
The KPI tabs are available to the ncw_user and ncw_admin roles by default.
The setting can be controlled via 'Pages'.
You can hide it from all users by selecting 'Hidden' in the page attributes as follows:
Please login to the DASH server as the smadmin user and select 'Pages' in 'Console Settings'. Expand 'Incident' --> 'Events' and click on the KPI links individually to change Navigation visibility to 'Hidden'.
All the pages aside from the ‘Key Performance Indicators’ page also give you the option to change the roles that have access to it. You can scroll to the bottom and click on the little arrow next to 'Roles with Access to This Page'.
To hide it from specific users, you can create a Custom View for them, which will allow you to exclude any page elements you wish to restrict. The 'Views' wizard can be accessed via 'Console Settings' (highlighted in screenshot #1).
