Problem
An authorization failure message is received while you are attempting to add a Deployment Subdomain Configuration to an IBM Cloud Pak System that is configured with a multi-rack deployment environment.
Symptom
When you attempt to save a Deployment Subdomain Configuration document, the following error can be seen:
CWZIP6628E Failed to connect to iSCSI host form system nnnnnnn-psmN, 24 (login failed due to authorization failure).
Resolving The Problem
Confirm that the Tiebreaker IQNs for each of the two Cloud Pak Systems added to the Deployment Subdomain are also added to the ACL of the target iSCSI server.
The IQNs can be found by issuing a left mouse click the system icon shown on the Management Domain configuration page, which displays a system information pop-up dialog. See the following text for an example of the IQN information format shown on that dialog.
Tiebreaker iSCSI IQN primary:iqn.nnnn-nn.com.ibm.pureapp:4e137da07125
Tiebreaker iSCSI IQN secondary:iqn.nnnn-nn.com.ibm.pureapp:d4f7bc8c3173
Add both the primary and secondary IQNs to the list of ACLs on the iSCSI target server.
