Troubleshooting
Problem
The Meta Data Wizard in Framework Manager shows a pop-up window with the following two errors:
"BMT-IMP-0002 Failed to execute metadata request. DPR-ERR-2079 Firewall Security Rejection. Your request was rejected by the security firewall."
Symptom
BMT-IMP-0002 Failed to execute metadata request. DPR-ERR-2079 Firewall Security Rejection. Your request was rejected by the security firewall.
Cause
Incorrect format of "Dispatcher URI for External Applications" setting in FM configuration.
Environment
Cognos Analytics 11.1.3 or 11.0.13 FP4 with Framework Manager 11
Resolving The Problem
Change the Dispatcher URI for External applications setting in Cognos Configuration of FM to the following format:
