Installation of WebSphere Application Server V9.0.5.15 or WebSphere Application Server V8.5.5.23 users are no longer able to view or administer WebSphere Application Server from IBM Web Administration for i.

The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack 9.0.5.18 and 8.5.5.25.
9.0.5.18 is currently available and can be applied in lieu of applying the Interim Fix.
8.5.5.25 is targeted for general available on 19 February 2024.

The WebSphere Application Server V8.5 Interim Fix works on 8.5.5.23 and newer, while the WebSphere Application Server V9 Interim Fix works on 9.0.5.15 and newer.
These Interim Fixes can be download from Fix Central.
To install the Installation Manager command imcl will be used. Here are two examples.
For WebSphere Application Server V8.5.
The file 8.5.5.23-WS-WAS-IFPH55723.zip is placed in the /tmp directory and uses the default location for Installation Manager and install root is
/QIBM/ProdData/WebSphere/AppServer/V85/Express
