Abstract

Multiple Secure Mail notifications support for Cloud Extender mail accounts on iOS devices

This feature enables Cloud Extender to support and send remote email notifications from multiple Secure Mail accounts configured on an iOS device. The MaaS360 Portal provides new screens to configure primary and secondary mail accounts:

  1. From the iOS device, go to Settings > Secure Productivity > Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Tasks > Manage Accounts. The Configure Account screen is displayed. 




     
  2. Provide account details, and then tap OK.

  3. Go to Notifications Settings and enable either All accounts or Per account.

  4. Choose different sounds for each account. The Notification setting is enabled in the MaaS360 Portal. When an email message is sent to the device, the notification is displayed on the device Home screen and in the Inbox.

  5. To remove a mailbox account, tap Remove Account. The mailbox account is removed from  Cloud Extender.
