Problem

Attempts to modify data connection in IBM Rational DOORS for HP Quality Center Interface Administration tool results in error 'Non-QCI Admin user cannot perform this operation'

Symptom

The full error message is as follows:

Non -QCI Admin user cannot perform this operation.
Please contact your QCI Administrator


Cause

Integration user doesn't have required permissions to perform the operation or user is attempting to login with invalid syntax.

Resolving The Problem

Procedure:

1. Add the integration user ( IWSUSER) to the following groups : Administrators ,IIS_WPG and QCI_Admin_Console_Users .

2. Remove the integration user ( IWSUSER) from the group : Guests

3. Login to Administration tool using <Integration servername>/IWSUSER syntax.
