Question & Answer
Question
Can IBM Rational Telelogic products work with Rational License Servers with out any changes?
Cause
Using a common license server for all Rational products post Telelogic merge with IBM.
Answer
Yes. You can make use of the Rational License Servers which are backward compatible to legacy Telelogic license daemon (telelogic).
Latest versions of Rational License Servers are released with 'ibmratl' license daemon, which caters to both 'rational' license daemon and 'telelogic' license daemon's which are used by respective products.
Refer to IBM document 1411515 for versions of Rational License Key Servers released till date.
