MCF WMS - Pick planning Rule: Remove Shortage quantities from Wave option does not work with Pre Built Containers, ErrorCode="YDM00203"
Answer
The releaseWave API seems to not support splitting a shipment line which has pre-built containers because,
1. if it reduces the shipment line, system does not
know from which pre-built container we need
to remove the inventory, as the containers are created
manually;
2. if we do not touch
containers, then the shipment quantity and total container quantity will be
in mismatch after
splitting.
We have also looked at releaseWave User Exits and we do not see
any hooks on the system to support this at
this time.
