Question

Is there a maximum number of attributes you can define in an IBM Rational DOORS module?

Cause

You may not see all the attributes when you open a DOORS module.

Answer

There is no maximum limit set for the number of attributes that can be created in a DOORS Module.

There are practical constraints on how many attributes you define since a larger number of attributes
will require more resources to handle the increase.

Also the number of attributes you can create is far greater than the amount that can be displayed in the attributes definition window (this display limit is approximately 10000).

Note: There is a limit for the number of columns you can use to display attribute information in a DOORS modules. You can display up to 32 columns in a module view.
