Abstract
The IBM® Maximo Reconfiguration command line interface tool allows you to update database and J2EE application server configuration properties for an existing deployment. You can also use this tool to enable and disable application security for IBM Maximo based products.
Use to reconfigure your existing deployment from the administrative workstation. You can update specific properties and settings directly from the command line, or you can supply an input properties file to change many properties at once. In addition to validating your proposed values, the reconfiguration command line interface tool can also rebuild and redeploy application EAR files to the IBM WebSphere® Application Server.
You can also use the tool to change the security model that you originally selected when you deployed your product. Application security can be changed to include an LDAP resource for group management, or you can change the existing LDAP-based security implementation to only use the application itself to manage both users and groups.
