Maximo Application Suite setup panels provides the ability to upload a license before the Suite Licensing Service is configured and ready

Troubleshooting


Problem

Before an admin can upload a license for Maximo Application Suite, the Suite Licensing Service ("SLS") must be configured and ready.  However, the setup panels for Maximo Application Suite show a panel allowing an administrator to upload a license even when SLS hasn't been configured.  Uploading a license in this case will always fail.

Symptom

The setup panels for Maximo Application Suite appear to allow uploading a license file, even though the Suite is not ready and will always fail.

Resolving The Problem

The product show not make the panel allowing an administrator to upload a license visable until the Suite Licensing Service is configured and ready.  This will be fixed in a future version of the product.
