Maximo 7.6.1.0 Tokens License Update

Content

This package updates the token licensing content that was delivered for Maximo Asset Management version 7.6.1.

The following updates are included in the package:

• Self-service, express, and limited access types are now available for users of token licenses. For more information, review the Access types section of the Token licensing in Maximo Asset Management article

System Requirements

The Maximo system must be preconfigured for token licenses. IBM Rational license key server must be set up, and products that are licensed from IBM Rational license key center must be uploaded to the server.

A library file is required, in addition to the library file that is imported in step 8 of the installation instructions.

Installation Instructions:

1. Download and extract the compressed file to the Maximo root folder.
2. Import the messages.
   1. In a command prompt, open the following directory: Maximo root folder\tools\maximo\internal
   2. Run the following command "messageloader -iMaximo root folder\C:\unicorn\resources\messages\TokenMessage.xml"
3. Run the database update scripts.
   1. In a command prompt, open the following directory: Maximo root folder\tools\maximo\internal
   2. Run the following command: "runscriptfile -fHF7610_token_drop2_1"
   3. Run the following command: "runscriptfile -fHF7610_token_drop2_2"
4. Build and deploy the EAR file.
5. Start the server, either IBM WebSphere Application Server or Oracle WebLogic Server, that was used to install the Maximo system.
6. Log in to the Maximo system.
7. In the Application Designer application, from the Maximo root folder\resources\presentations directory, import the tokenlic.xml file and the lictrack.xml file.
8. From the Maximo root folder\resources\presentations\system directory, import the library.xml file.
9. In the token license setup application, in the Server Address field, specify the address of your Rational license key server instance.
