Managing Automation Document Processing Project Databases

How To

Summary

Automation Document Processing uses a unique project (tenant) database for each project. When there are many projects, it becomes difficult to manage and clean up the databases. To assist with database management, ADP has several Project utilities.

Steps

The utilities are located in the \cert-kubernetes\ACA\configuration-ha\DB2 folder.  All utilities come as sh scripts for Linux Db2 and as bat files for Windows Db2.
  • ProjectList - This utility queries the base database, and lists the project associated with each project database and the status of the database.  Status values are:
    • 0 - Project database is available to be assigned to a project.
    • 1 - Project database is actively in use by a project.
    • 2 - Project database contains archived data from a deleted project.
  • ProjectCleanup - This utility finds all project databases with a status of 2, replaces the archived data with the original sample data, and sets the status back to 0 to make it available for another project.  Use this script with care.
  • ProjectDelete - This utility finds all project databases with a status of 2, deletes them, and removes the entry from the base database.
