MaaS360 DTM installer version 3.93 Release Summary

Along with the 10.65 Platform release, the DTM installer v3.93 will be elevated. The new DTM installer version 3.93 will be available for new Windows 7/8 enrollments that will use TLS 1.2.

In June of 2018, the MaaS360 Platform will deprecate TLS 1.0 security protocol and MaaS360 agents will fail to perform the following mandatory actions:

• Download services
• Device registration requests
• Heartbeat server calls

To support the latest security protocols, TLS 1.1+, MaaS360 upgraded DTM installer to version 3.93, which comes with a latest code base. MaaS360 also upgraded the following modules to fix minor bugs.

• End point Security module
• OPSWAT module: Updates to DTM OPSWAT modules to detect newer versions of endpoint security and data protection software such as Checkpoint encryption software etc.
• Locate device module: Enhancements to support reporting device location check-ins when devices ping in from different time zones.

Uninstalling BigFix client

Previously, the BigFix agent would remain on the system even if MaaS360 agent was made unavailable. MaaS360 provides a way to automatically uninstall BigFix client in the following scenarios:

1. User removes control for an UEM customer.
2. Admin removes control for an UEM customer.
3. UEM customer changed to MDM, i.e., if Advanced Laptop and Desktop management service is disabled. In this case, BigFix agent is removed from all devices for that customer.
