Log rotate does not work in IBM InfoSphere Guardium

Troubleshooting


Problem

In IBM InfoSphere Guardium, log rotation set using the CLI command "support logrotate message" is not working and the /var/log/messages files grows very large and fill up disk space.

Resolving The Problem

Please apply the following patch or later, as applicable to your version of the Guardium appliance. Guardium version 9.1 64 bit is not affected by this defect.
