Question
I am using a license server to check out licenses. Where can I find the license debug log file location?
Answer
If you are using a license server, you can find the path to the license debug log file location in the LMTOOLS utility:
- Open the LMTOOLS utility,
- Click on the "Config Services" tab.
- There should be a field called "Path to the debug log file". The path of this field is the location of the license debug log file.
For example:
For "IBM Rational License Server Telelogic 2.0" version, the LMTOOLS utility can be found at (on the machine where the license server is installed):
Start -> All Programs -> IBM Rational -> IBM Rational License Server Telelogic 2.0 -> LMTOOLS
Below is the screenshot of the LMTOOLS utility -> Config Services tab. Notice the "Path to the debug log file" field highlighted in yellow:
