Abstract
The open standard for Java Batch (JSR-352) requires something called a Job Repository. The implementation of the job repository is outside the scope of this specification. The specification says nothing about how the repository is implemented. This means that any implementation has to explain how it is implemented and how it is managed. This document will explain how the Liberty Java Batch job repository is implemented and managed in DB2 for z/OS.
